The Alohana Latin Dance Festival welcomes all teams from all locations to come and perform.  It does not matter if you are professionals, amateurs, students, or keiki (children), everyone is given a chance to be in the spotlight.  If you are interested in performing, please email us at [email protected]


Our instructors are carefully selected for not only being experts in their craft, but also their personality.  Many are returning instructors from previous Salsa In Hawaii events.  Our instructors are known for their reputations as social dancers as well as performers.  They have been known to already embrace the Aloha spirit as members of our ohana.


This may be the first year for the Alohana Latin Dance Festival, but its origin has deep roots in the Latin dance community.  The main organizer, Grant, is a founding member and co-owner of Salsa In Hawaii which has held the Hawaii Salsa & Bachata Congress since 2015.  He also organizes Luxe Hawaii Salsa which is best known for Salsamor, Hawaii’s longest running and most popular salsa night, established in 2012.

The pass for the dance fanatic only interested in dancing. It includes both Wednesday and Thursday nights at The District Nightclub. At the Sheraton your night will start with performances and end with non-stop dancing until 2 am. No workshops will be included.

This is an add-on, similar to the boot camp tickets, and must be bought with a full pass, day pass, or if you are an instructor, volunteer, or DJ for the event. Cannot be purchased as an individual ticket without a festival ticket.

Hide & Peko Bootcamp

Have you always wanted to perform at a congress? Train with Hide & Peko, champions from Tokyo, in an exciting and intense 2 day bootcamp that will conclude with performing on Sunday! Sign up early because you will get a training video to practice before the festival!
-Intermediate dancers and above.
-People who just want to learn and train without performing are welcome.
-Payment for the bootcamp does not guarantee a performance spot.
-This is an add-on to the Salsa In Hawaii congress. Must have either a full pass, performer's pass, Kama'aina pass, or be an instructor, volunteer, or DJ at the Salsa In Hawaii 2025 Alohana Festival. Refunds will NOT be issued for anyone who signs up without a pass for the event.
